We use GetEditorWorldCounterpartActor in the sequence recorder which cant work in standalone builds as it relies on GEditor. The best fix would probably be to just add a guard for GEditor to GetEditorWorldCounterpartActor and GetSimWorldCounterpartActor.
I have a shelf (from Dev-Framework) with the fix ready to go in CL 3113460.
Create a new project based on the BP FPS template
Launch the game standalone
At the console, type "RecordSequence all"
Run about, jump, fire your gun
console, type "stoprecordingsequence"
Expected: It shouldn't crash and there should be a saved level sequence asset with animation assets in Content/Cinematics/Sequences
