[3ds max] Some geometry will display in all black in Path Tracer renders

Some geometry from 3ds Max will display as all black when viewed in Path Tracer rendering. This effect is visible in both UE and Twinmotion.

This was tested with Datasmith 5.5.4 and 5.6.1 for 3ds Max, with UE 5.7.1 and Twinmotion 2025.2.

Datasmith 5.7.100 will consistently crash 3ds Max during any attempted Direct Link syncs with the tested file.

1. Open either of the 3ds max files (tested in 3ds Max 2025)
2. Convert the scene
3. Import the model into Twinmotion or UE through either Datasmith Direct Link or .udatasmith import.
4. Enable Path Tracer

Result: The left slipper in the model will display as all black in Path Tracer
