Description

When you try to apply a material to multiple mesh components of an empty actor dragged into the scene; the material is only applied to one.

EXTRA NOTES
This issue won't occur under these circumstances:

  • if you try to apply materials in the blueprint editor
  • if you don't convert the empty actor to a blueprint class prior to applying material
Steps to Reproduce
  1. Drag Empty Actor into scene from basic tab
  2. Use add component in details panel to add a cube, sphere and cone to actor
  3. Click Add blueprint to create and save this as a blueprint asset
  4. Create a new material asset (can be anything)
  5. Select actor you placed in the scene earlier
  6. In the detail panel for the actor, select the cone, cube and sphere components
  7. Drag and drop the new material onto the details panel material slot

RESULT
One of the components has actually had its material changed, the rest are unchanged

EXPECTED
All components have their material updated
