Regression (no) issue (does) occur in 4.12.5

1. Open Editor (any project)
2. Create new blueprint
3. Create a print string from the Tick event
4. Compile
5. Add blueprint to level
6. Press PIE
7. Alt+Tab out of play
8. LMB content browser to focus editor window
9. Press ` to bring up Command Prompt
10. Type any of these letters into the command prompt: w,e,r,t,i,o,p,a,s,d,f,g,h,l,c,v,b,n,m
