When scaling the mesh the world aligned alpha projected onto the mesh doesn't adjust or change according to the surface of the mesh. It appears that scale is locked in object space so an object with slopes along it's surface will still return the same alpha value even when scaled flat.
This is very apparent in the test project when scaling the object flat in the test scene.
RESULT
The world aligned alpha projected onto the mesh doesn't adjust to the new slopes produced from scaling the mesh.
EXPECTED
Scaling the mesh would adjust the world aligned blend accordingly. For instance a flat mesh would be a solid color on the top.
