A licensee is reporting an issue with mesh decals rendering incorrectly when created as a Material ID (Material Element) and assigning a translucent material to the shared mesh.
The use case example is of a Teapot with three separate Material IDs, one of which is used as the mesh decal. The bug appears as soon as you change the Teapot's lid material to translucent.
This is not a regression as the feature was introduced in the 4.13 release, and it occurs there as well as the 4.14 release.
1. Open the attached project.
2. Select the SM_TeapotDecal mesh
3. Set the Element 0 to M_Glass
Outcome The mesh decal no longer blends with the underlying geometry and normals.
Expected The decals continues to blend with the normals and adheres to its decal blend mode.
