Re-importing a static mesh results in all currently applied sockets being removed from the static mesh in the Editor.

Workaround: Setting the sockets up in the Native 3D editing software following the naming convention: SOCKET_[name] will allow the user to make changes and reimport sockets multiple times.

Regression: Yes, works in UE4.13 but not UE4.14 on

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open a Blank Blueprint Template project with Starter Content
  2. Open to default map (two chairs and a table)
  3. Add Sockets to the static mesh "SM_Chair"
  4. Export "SM_Chair" to desktop
  5. Re-import "SM_Chair"
RESULT: Sockets previously added to chair will be removed
EXPECTED: Sockets to still be applied to reimported static mesh
