The collision mesh and the display mesh are often similar enough to be difficult to differentiate, and there is currently no way to view the collision wireframe without the display wireframe as well.

Maybe make that 'Collision' button a drop down that lets you select Complex and/or Simple?
If it draws per-poly info when 'use simple as complex' is enabled, that sounds like a bug, but should be easy to fix. Josh would you mind making a JIRA for that?
Create new blank project
Select a chair and open the mesh in the Static Mesh editor
select Collision from the toolbar
> display mesh wireframe (light blue) becomes visible
expect there to be a way to show only the collision mesh (darker blue)
