Description

When a particle with actor collision passes through a trigger volume it won't collide with geometry for a moment. That is why in the test it will pass through the platform but then collide with the floor.

Additional Notes:

  • Scene depth based collision doesn't have this issue (GPU Particles).
  • Changing the volume to a different collision channel so that the particle system won't collide with it is a valid workaround.
Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open attached project
  2. PIE and notice the particle system bounce off the hovering platform
  3. Stop PIE and move the Trigger volume above the platform such that the particle will pass through
  4. PIE

RESULT
As the particle falls through the trigger volume is passes through the platform.

EXPECTED
The particle collides with the hovering platform.
