Only seems to occur on the flat surface that is present on the ground when you spawn in.

rolling onto other flat surfaces or placing a plane below the sphere doesn't cause the issue.

It looks like it's the Template floor static mesh causing this issue, specifically the collision, if you regenerate collision on the mesh using a box the issue goes away if you generate using 26 DOp the issue returns

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open the Editor
  2. Select the Rolling template BP
  3. Create a new project
  4. Select play in editor
    Sphere bounces repeatedly
