Description

Unable to locally rotate individual foliage. This seems to have been a limitation of the foliage tool from it's creation.

Licensee Description:

I would like to ask if there is any way how to prevent incorrect foliage rotation in editor.

It almost seems as if the rotation of the gizmo was always oriented according to the absolute world rotation and not affected by further yaw rotation of the foliage instance (as demonstrated in the video).

Expected behavior is that the gizmo would adapt to rotation of placed foliage instance.

Function for switching between Local and world coordinations doesn't have any effect on foliage rotation.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open a new project
  2. In the Modes panel, select the Foliage tool
  3. Add a static mesh as the Foliage type
  4. In the Viewport, paint some foliage
  5. Back in the Foliage tool, choose the Select tool
  6. Select one of the pieces of foliage > Press E for rotate tool > Rotate the foliage on it's X and then on it's Y axis
  7. In the Viewport, cycle the Transform from World to Local
  8. Rotate the foliage again

Results: The foliage will rotate the same for world and local space. There doesn't seem to be a way to rotate foliage locally at all.

Expected: When the viewport is cycled to local space, the foliage will then be able to be rotated on it's relative rotation.
