EXR format image files appear dark in texture editor with HDRCompressed setting

Description

Imported textures in exr image file formats preview darker in HDRCompressed versus HDR in the texture editor.

They seem to look the same in a simple material using linear color texture sampling.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Import one of the .exr images from here: [Link Removed]
  2. Toggle compression settings from HDR to HDRCompressed. Notice preview is darker
