Description

The ParticleNotify should always be triggered while playing in sequencer editor regardless whether the spawned particle is attached or not to it's bone/sockets

This stopped working since 4.15 version, that means in 4.15, no problem

Steps to Reproduce
  • Download and unzip the project and open it
  • Select the Sequencer actor “Walking” in World outline and double click on it to open Sequencer editor; Play back the sequence
  • See, the character is walking and moving but without any particle effect get spawned
  • Check the Animation Sequence(ThirdPersonWalk) it's playing, you can see it has a Particle notify on it. Play the animation in animation editor, see particle is triggered by the notify while playing the animation.
  • Select the Particle Notify(P_Explosion), in it's details enable Attached option
  • Play back in Sequencer editor, now the particle gets triggered
