Description

Attempting to play Haptic Effect SoundWaves on both Motion Controllers will cancel or interfere with each other.

Tested with Oculus

Steps to Reproduce

Example Project Attached

  1. Create Haptic Feedback Effect SoundWave asset
  2. Assign Sound Wave to asset (Occurs with Mono and Stero wavs)
  3. Create PlayHapticEffect node, assign Haptic Effect, execute on MC input for each hand
  4. Play in VR preview, Ensure window has focus
  5. Fire haptic effects on both MCs simultaneously

Result: Second effect will cancel or cause interference with the first
