Steps to Reproduce
  • Import a staticmesh that have at least 2 section (I attach one)
  • in the staticmesh editor in LOD 0 swap the material slot use by section 0 and 1
  • drop 2 or more instance of the staticmesh in the level and select them
  • Merge Instance (3rd tab in the merge actors dialog)

RESULT
The material ID of the newly created actor are swap
EXPECTED RESULT
The material ID are assign like the source actor in the level
