Description

New Text 3D plugin does not process contextual analysis for Arabic

Expected: Arabic characters should change shape based on the placement of a letter in a word (similar to how in English, a letter changes its shape a word change when writing cursive). For example adjacent characters are joined in 4 slightly different ways based on the their placement in a word: separate, first, middle, or last.

Steps to Reproduce

Sample project with Arabic font + Example attached

1. Add Text 3D.
2. Window -> Localization Dashboard -> Add culture -> Arabic (.....).
3. Arabic font already dragged and dropped from Windows\Fonts folder into UE 4 project.
4. Pick Arabic Font from Details tab.
5. Enter Arabic Text (just one word) in "Text" field under Text 3D section.
