Steps to Reproduce
  • Create foliage type using the default cube mesh, enable evaluate World position offset in foliage type, paint foliage on the a plane mesh
  • Make sure r.RayTracing.Geometry.InstancedStaticMeshes.EvaluateWPO 1 or -1; 
  • Create a WPO material and apply to the foliage
  • Change the material's offset value see the foliage shadow is changing but in very odd direction(actually in it's local space direction)
  • Transform the offset value from Local Space to World Space in the WPO material, now the shadows are matching the foliage
