Description

Dynamic Inset Shadows are not casting shadows on Skeletal Meshes where previously they did.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a Blank project
  2.  Enable all Ray Tracing Options in Project Settings, including Hardware Ray Tracing
  3.  Place a Spotlight in the scene
  4. In the Spotlight's details set Cast Ray Traced Shadows to Disabled and Cast Distance Field Shadows to Enabled.
  5.  Place a Skeletal Mesh Mannequin in the scene
  6. In the Skeletal Mesh's details enable Cast Dynamic Inset Shadows
  7. Light the Mannequin with the spotlight

Expected Results:
The mannequin will cast a shadow

 

Actual Results:
No Shadow is cast.
