Description

Occurs 5/5 times:

The Scene Capture 2D camera displays artifacts when the projection is set to Orthographic and a nanite mesh is projected on the Scene Capture 2D plane.

 

Steps to Reproduce

Repro Steps:

  1. Open a UE blank template project.
  2. Import a dense mesh object to enable Nanite. I selected some rock assets from the Lava Field Collection in the Marketplace.
  3. Open the object in the static mesh editor and enable Nanite support.
  4. Place the static mesh in the level.
  5. Add a SceneCapture2D object from the Place Actors panel.
  6. Create a SceneCapture Texture Target and save it as a material.
  7. Apply it to a plane shape in the level.
  8. Set the projection type of the SceneCapture2D object to Orthographic.
  9. Move the SceneCapture 2D camera toward and away from the object.
  10. Artifacts from the Nanite mesh remain on the plane, after the SceneCapture2D camera moves through the mesh.
