Description

Forward Shading causes Artifacting on Instanced Meshes.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create a Blank project with Starter Content
  2. In the project settings Set Forward Shading to true
  3. Restart the project
  4. Create a Static Mesh Foliage that uses the 'EditorSphere' mesh
  5. Paint the foliage in the scene and observe the results

Expected Results:
The foliage is placed without artifacting

Actual Results:
The foliage is placed but there is black flickering artifacting
