A forum user reported an issue where object geometry occlusion would be missing when Ray Traced shadows were enabled. I was able to reproduce the issue internally where occlusion seems to be missing when RT Shadows are enabled, especially when looking at an object above water. See images attached below.

Testing regression.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Open QAGame
  2. Open level QA-Waterworks
  3. Enable the following in Project Settings:
    • Support Hardware Ray Tracing
    • Use Hardware Ray Tracing when available
  4. Restart the editor
  5. Navigate over the Lake example
  6. Toggle RT Shadows on/off in the project settings

Results: Shadows on cubes do not render on the water once RT Shadows is enabled
Expected: Shadows render on the water
