Description

When I use my dataprep recipe I'm seeing something strange.

The Bake Transform node seems to be stripping the transform instead of applying it.

I have this in dataprep:

https://udn.unrealengine.com/sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=ORIGINAL_Png&versionId=068QP00000bnmpO

Note the position of the tile, the xyz gizmo, tile size and the transform values

When I execute the Bake Transform I get this:

https://udn.unrealengine.com/sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=ORIGINAL_Png&versionId=068QP00000bmmQA

Note that the transform values are correct, but the tile size and position is not even close. While the xyz gizmo is the same as before.

If I perform this test outside of DataPrep with modeling tools, I get this:

https://udn.unrealengine.com/sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=ORIGINAL_Png&versionId=068QP00000bnfb3

Note the gizmo, and the transform...and how the tile is rotated, it is all correct before the bake. After the bake it looks like this:

https://udn.unrealengine.com/sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=ORIGINAL_Png&versionId=068QP00000bnmsc

Everything looks correct, and the tile did not move or rotate.

https://udn.unrealengine.com/sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=ORIGINAL_Png&versionId=068QP00000bnYXx

The size of the tile is also correct.

Is this a bug, or is my dataprep recipe incorrect?

Steps to Reproduce

Load up a file into dataprep (I'm using interchange FBX importer) that has a transform on it's geometry applied.

Make a recipe that uses the bake transform option, execute it, you should see that it does not actually bake the geometry and transforms correctly.
