Meshes that have a material with a DistanceToNearestSurface node applied can not be selected in the viewport. They have to be selected in the world outliner, and even then they don't have an outline around them to signify that they're selected.

A similar issue has been seen in TM-ShaderModels when attempting to select one of the meshes with the volumetric material applied to it, however it wasn't reproduced.

Steps to Reproduce

Have access to QAGame


  1. Open QAGame
  2. Open TM-DistanceFields
  3. Navigate to the Texture from Distance Field section
  4. Attempt to click on the planes full of holes.
