Description

We include an 8 GB DDC with Kite Demo, but the entire DDC is recalculated on project launch instead of using the included DDC.

There is no information included in the DefaultEngine.ini file to reference the DDC and tell the project to use it.

This recompiling uses the Engine's DDC location (Not the project's) and increases the overall size of the launched project by an additional 8 GB.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Download the Kite Demo from the Launcher
  2. Create a Project from the Kite Demo
  3. Open the Kite Demo Project
  4. Note the total time it takes to open and compile project as well as available hard drive space
  5. Close Project
  6. Delete the Project
  7. Create a New Project from the Vault
  8. Open the DefaultEngine.ini
  9. Add DDC information based on documentation for Shared Local DDCs to ini file
  10. Save the DefaultEngine.ini
  11. Open the Project

RESULTS: The Project opens with little to no compilation and no additional information needed or very little new used Hard Drive Space

EXPECTED: You should be able to use the DDC without making changes to DefaultEngine.ini OR we should not be including the DDC in the project download.
